It has taken me quite a few years to really figure out what I wanted to do. Actually I did always know but I was damned if I knew how to put the puzzle together. A series of random (or possibly not so random) events took me to Canada this summer and set my course. I had the ridiculously good fortune to live in a little piece of paradise. My purpose was to photograph and write about wildlife, in particular, whales in Northern Vancouver Island, B.C.
These blogs are taken from my experiences this summer, spanning my time on the boats with Stubbs Island Whale Watching. I also did some guest blogs for Discovery Marine Safaris and Kingfisher Kayaking Trips,
My 2 weeks spent working as a whale warden for Cetus Conservation Group also added some serious colour and wild excitement to my summer.
